ARTISAN VRANEC 2016 | BRZANOV WINERY

A very dark red, almost mystique black color, with inviting nuances of purple. An intensive and rich bouquet of fruity and spicy scents of blueberry syrup, crushed red currants and rose hip marmalade, elegantly followed by a discrete scent of vanilla and black pepper, delicately tingling the gums and announcing the full body and solid structure, with integrated ripe tannins.

Dry red wine made from the varieties Merlot 50% and Cabernet Franc 50% by classic fermentation. It is aged for 3 years of which 20 months in new barriques and one year in a bottle. The grape is cultivated od 550 m a.s.l.. It contains 14% of alcohol, no residual sugar and no additives were used. In the production process we only use selected yeast and minimal quantity of potassium metabisulfite. The wine is not filtered.

Red wine with intensive red color. Characteristic, complex nose and taste of forest fruits from which, blueberries, blackcurrant and black cherries domination, backed by exotic herbal spiciness. Petit Verdot Is best served at 12-14⁰C. Wine with such a richness is suitable with wide pallet of food like sea fruits, and medium spicy meat.
