ACACIA 2018 | STOBI WINERY
Yellow-greenish nuance with intensive aroma, scent of tropic fruits, acacia flower, gently emphasized nut, baked bread. Full, warm, soft. It is very appropriate as an appetizer with smoked fish, sea food, cheese, and in summer with fruity appetizers, asparagus, artichoke, pineapple and light white meat. It is ideally served at a temperature of 10-12°C.

It contains 13.5% of alcohol, no residual sugar and no additives were used. In the production process we only use selected yeast and minimal quantity of potassium metabisulfite. The wine is not filtered.

The Chardonnay from BOVIN is a quality dry white wine with yellowish-green nuance. It is a wine with complex aroma typical for the grape variety, with emphasized aroma of tropical fruits – pineapple, banana, citruses, but also melon and apple. The taste is long lasting, soft, balanced, and fresh. It is an excellent companion for aged cheese, green salad, white meat, fish, and seafood.

The wine is produced 100% from the Chardonnay variety from the vineyards surrounding the Kamnik winery. The uniqueness of this Chardonnay comes from the fermentation in French oak barrels with extended contact of the wine on the fine lees, with the so called “sur lie” method, as well as from the 10-month ageing in these barrels. The wine is marked with a yellow-green color and crystal clearness. The nose is complex, splendid and elegant, with discreet tropical fruit aromas. The taste is creamy, with a butter and biscuit texture and with a fruity aftertaste of melon and pear. The wine has a remarkable fullness, harmony and roundness and it is marked with a potential for bottle ageing for several years.
