This aromatic wine is produced from 90% Temjanika selected late-harvested berries and 10% Chardonnay grapes. The uniqueness of this wine comes from 12 months of extended contact on fine lees i.e. “Sur lie” method from which we get the structure and the body of the wines.  The aroma is remarkable, with a sweet intensity and notes of peach and dry apricot, complemented with discreet floral hints. The palate is rich and full-bodied, with delicately balanced acidity and sweetness.

TEN BARRELS CABERNET SAUVIGNON Reserva 2016 – This premium red wine, produced from the Cabernet Sauvignon variety, is defined by a deep ruby red color with dark red hues. A genuine reserva wine with a recognizable, ripe and abundant nose with a fruity and spicy character. This wine unveils dark berries combined with liquorice, dark chocolate, roasted coffee and mint, complemented with vanilla and spice tones. The complexity of this wine is a result of the 23-month ageing process in new French and American oak barrels. The taste is full-bodied, harmonious, with a solid structure, impressive and soft tannins and with a long and pleasant aftertaste which marks this wine with a particular charm and with a several year bottle ageing capacity.

This estate bottled Syrah wine is marked with a touch of excellence resulting from the double crop reduction, which leads to a partial dehydration of the grapes on the vines, but also from the presence of 8% of Vranec grapes. These steps enable obtaining a phеnologically ripe wine with an intense ruby red color, high extract and high ageing capacity. The bouquet is abundant in aromas of blackberry, black currant and java plum. The complexity of this wine comes from the 20-month ageing in new American and French oak barrels that enable obtaining discreet spicy tones, complemented with aromas of mocha coffee, vanilla and liqorice and dark chocolate. The taste is elegant and full-bodied, with excellent structure, soft velvety tannins and nicely integrated oak aromas with a long aftertaste.

A white wine with a tender amber-like orange color, made 100% from selected Gewuztraminer grapes from the Kamnik vinery own vineyards. The nose is complex and rich, defined by notes of wild rose and dried apricot, complemented with hints of honey and tropical fruits. The curiosity about this wine is the ancient production method with a spontaneous fermentation, 6-months of maceration of the grape skins and 7-months of ageing in oak barrels. The wine offers a full-bodied and harmonious taste, with soft tannins and with a long aftertaste which enables the several year bottle ageing capacity of the wine. This powerful wine can be served as an aperitif, combined with a selection of cheeses or with spicy Moroccan or Asian dishes.

VRANEC TERROIR 2015 | CHATEAU KAMNIK

A dry red wine produced 100 % from Vranec variety grapes that were let to partially dry on the vines. The density is typical for this variety; it has excellent vivacity and nice viscosity. The wine is defined by a dark ruby red color. Тhe fruity and spicy nose unveils a fusion of ripe blackberries, blueberries and plums, with a discreet hint of mint. The 24-month ageing process in new American and French oak barriqes ensures obtaining an exceptionally full-bodied and intense taste of red berries jam with a long and persistent chocolate aftertaste. The harmonic acids, the soft velvety tannins and the complex bouquet with a delicate structure provide this wine with a long ageing potential. If aged for an extended period, under appropriate ambient conditions, this wine will show even more complexity and splendor.
